Argentina Monthly GDP YoY

Argentina's economic activity estimator rose by 5.7% year-on-year in February 2025, easing from an upwardly revised 6.7% increase in January, and expanding for the fourth consecutive month. The moderation reflected slower growth in sectors such as mining and quarrying (5.0% vs. 8.7% in January), utilities (1.1% vs. 6.5%), and manufacturing (5.0% vs. 6.2%). In contrast, activity accelerated in agriculture (2.1% vs. 0.7%), financial services (30.2% vs. 25.7%), and construction (4.0% vs. 1.9%), while growth in transportation remained steady at 3.3%. On a seasonally adjusted basis, output rose by 0.8%, while the trend-cycle indicator advanced by 0.7%.
