Armenia’s foreign trade is limited due to landlocked location and border disputes with Turkey to the west and Azerbaijan to the east. As a result Armenia usually reports high trade deficits. Armenia’s main exports are metals and precious stones followed by energy, beverages, and vegetables and fruit. Armenia mainly imports oil, natural gas, cereals, rubber manufactures, cork and wood, and electrical machinery. Armenia’s main trading partners are Russia, Germany, Iran, the United States, China, Ukraine and Turkey
