Chile Taxa De Inflação

Chile’s annual inflation slowed to 3.4% in October 2025 from 4.4% in September, the lowest since May 2021. Prices fell for clothing and footwear (-3.0% vs -2.8%) and information and communication (-0.1% vs 0.4%). Increases eased for food and non-alcoholic beverages (3.1% vs 4.9%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.6% vs 3.9%), housing and utilities (6.9% vs 9.8%), healthcare (4.2% vs 4.9%), education (5.2% vs 5.3%), and insurance and financial services (0.6% vs 2.0%). Inflation accelerated for household equipment and maintenance (0.9% vs 0.3%) and transport (0.8% vs 0.4%), and was steady for recreation, sports and culture (3.2%) and restaurants and lodging (6.6%). Month-on-month, prices were unchanged after rising 0.4% in September.
