The number of unemployed individuals decreased by 0.3 thousand from a month earlier to 75.4 thousand. Net unemployment benefit recipients fell by 0.1 thousand to 67.1 thousand and cash assistance recipients dropped by 0.1 thousand to 8.3 thousand. Meanwhile, the youth unemployment rate, representing job-seekers aged 16 to 24, held steady at 1.1%.
