Geórgia Taxa De Inflação

The annual inflation rate in Georgia eased to 4% in December 2025 from 4.8% in the previous month. This marked the lowest reading since June as price growth slowed for food and non-alcoholic beverages (8.8% vs 10.3% in November), health (7% vs 8%), education (2.1% vs 2.3%), restaurants and hotels (6.9% vs 7.2%), and miscellaneous goods and services (5.1% vs 5.3%). At the same time, prices declined for housing utilities (-0.3% vs 0.3%) and transport (-0.6% vs 0.3%), while deflation deepened for communication (-4.7% vs -4%) and recreation and culture (-1.6% vs -1.5%). On the other hand, costs remained unchanged for alcoholic beverages and tobacco (4.4%), while prices stalled for clothing and footwear. On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell by 0.2% in December, following a 0.4% growth in the preceding period.
