Israel's annual inflation eased to 3.1% in July 2025 from 3.3% in June, matching market forecasts. The slowdown was driven by lower prices for clothing and footwear (-6.2%) and furniture and household equipment (-1.4%). In contrast, notable increases were seen in miscellaneous items (5.1%), housing (4.2%), and food excluding fruits and vegetables (3.7%). Core measures showed the CPI excluding energy up 3.4%, excluding fruits and vegetables up 3.2%, and excluding housing up 2.7%. Month-on-month, consumer prices rose 0.4%, accelerating from 0.3% in June.
