The current climate index also increased to 99.7 from 97.9. Meanwhile, the future climate index edged up to 93.9 from 93.7. In contrast, views on the general economic situation deteriorated, with the related sub-index slipping to 98.2 from 99.6, reflecting lingering concerns over broader macroeconomic trends despite the overall uptick in confidence.
