Japão Produção Industrial (Mensal)

Japan’s industrial production fell by 0.9% month-over-month in April 2025, reversing a 0.2% gain in the previous month but performing better than market expectations of a 1.1% drop, flash data showed. This marked the second decline in industrial output so far this year. Industries that mainly contributed to the fall were production machinery (-8.7% vs 7.1% in March), transport equipment excluding motor vehicles (-7.0% vs 6.6%), and fabricated metals (-3.7% vs -0.6%). On a yearly basis, industrial output rose by 0.7% in April, easing from a 1.0% increase in March but marking the third consecutive month of growth.
