Serbia’s trade deficit widened to USD 1,058 million in February 2025 from USD 0.8 billion in the corresponding month of the previous year. Exports declined by 7.5% year-on-year to USD 2,514 million, while imports rose 3.3% to USD 3,450 million. Seasonally adjusted data shows both exports and imports fell by 3% respectively in February. The top five export products in February were ignition wiring sets (USD 146M), refined copper (USD 131M), copper ore/concentrates (USD 94M), electricity (USD 92M), and passenger car tires (USD 43M). For imports, natural gas led at USD 191M, followed by crude oil (USD 131M), retail trade medicaments (USD 121M), electricity (USD 92M), and gas oils (USD 44M).
