Singapore's Manufacturing PMI slightly dipped to 50.6 in March 2025 from 50.7 in February, signaling modest growth in the sector. This also marked the lowest reading since May 2024, reflecting slower expansion in new orders, exports, factory output, and employment, amid growing global trade tensions and tariff uncertainties. Input prices decreased for the second consecutive month, pointing to easing manufacturing costs and the potential for rising disinflationary pressures if global demand softens. The key electronics sector also saw its PMI edge down to 50.9 from 51.0.
