Spain’s consumer confidence indicator edged lower to 75.9 in December 2025, down from 76.0 in the previous month. It was the lowest reading since October 2023, reflecting more negative assessments of the current economic situation, which fell to 71.3 from 71.4 the month before. Household expectations were unchanged at 80.5, their lowest since June, signaling soft sentiment about the near-term economic outlook.
