Turkey's trade deficit widened to USD 7.7 billion in January 2025 from USD 6.2 billion in the corresponding month of the previous year, preliminary estimates showed. Exports rose by 5.8% year-on-year to USD 21.2 billion in January, while imports increased at a faster pace of 10.2%, reaching USD 28.8 billion.
