The consumer confidence index in Turkey rose to 78.2 in September 2024, up from 76.4 in the prior month, pointing to a slight decline in household pessimism. The sub-index for the current financial situation of households increased by 2.8% month-over-month, reaching 64.8. Additionally, expectations for the general economic outlook over the next 12 months climbed 4.2% to 74.5, and households' expectations for their financial situation over the next 12 months advanced by 1% to 77.4. As a result, the assessment of spending on durable goods during the same period grew by 2% to 96.2.
