Reino Unido Monthly GDP MoM

The UK’s monthly real GDP rose by 0.1% in August 2025, following a downwardly revised 0.1% decline in July, in line with market expectations. Production output increased by 0.4%, rebounding from a 0.4% contraction in July. Growth was driven by manufacturing (up 0.7%), electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (up 0.4%), and water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (up 0.3%). These gains were partially offset by a 2.3% fall in mining and quarrying. The services sector showed no overall growth for the second straight month, as strong expansions in administrative and support services (up 1.0%) and human health and social work activities (up 0.4%) were countered by declines in wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (down 0.5%), arts, entertainment and recreation (down 2.4%), and transport and storage (down 0.7%). Meanwhile, construction output fell 0.3%, after showing no growth, as repair and maintenance activity fell 1.5%.
