Estados Unidos PMI Chicago

The Chicago Business Barometer, or Chicago PMI, rose to 47.6 in March 2025 from 45.5 in the prior month and better than market expectations of 45.2. The latest data showed that Chicago's economic activity contracted for the 16th consecutive month, though at the slowest pace since November 2023. The increase was largely driven by a rise in production, with smaller increases in employment, order backlogs and new orders also contributing whilst supplier deliveries declined.
