Vietnam Taxa De Inflação

Vietnam’s annual inflation rate rose to 3.57% in June 2025 from 3.24% in the previous month, marking the highest level since January. Price growth accelerated for clothing, footwear, and hats (1.35% vs 1.14% in May), housing and building materials (7.23% vs 6.10%), household equipment (1.68% vs 1.64%), and other goods and services (6.68% vs 6.64%). At the same time, transport cost fell much slower (-1.87% vs -5.66%). Simultaneously, costs eased for both food and non-alcoholic beverages (3.01% vs 3.72%), and medicines and healthcare (12.92% vs 13.58%). Core inflation, which excludes volatile items, rose to 3.46%, the highest print since September 2023, from 3.33% in May. On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased by 0.48%, the most in five months, after a 0.16% rise in May.
